New ebook published: Brer Rabbit Traditional Tale Retold

Brer Rabbit - A collection of eight retold traditional stories

We are pleased to announce our new collection of stories featuring that loveable rogue Brer Rabbit is now available for download (UKUS). Our new ebook is based on the original stories collected and retold by Joel Chandler Harris in his Uncle Remus books published during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The book contains the following eight stories:

  • Brer Rabbit and the Vegetable Patch
  • Brer Rabbit Helps Sister Goose
  • Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear and the Fruit Bush
  • Brer Rabbit and the Pot of Honey
  • Brer Rabbit, Brer Otter and the Fish
  • Brer Rabbit, Brer Turtle and the Pimmerly Plums
  • Brer Rabbit and the Moon in the Millpond
  • Brer Rabbit and Brer Turtle

If you’ve never read a Brer Rabbit tale then you’re in for a treat. If you have then you’ll already know this loveable rogue enjoys playing tricks on the animals of the forest and the farmyard. Adults will love reading these tales to younger children whilst older children will delight in discovering Brer Rabbit and his friends for themselves. Each story can be read in approximately ten minutes, making this ebook ideal for bedtime at home or for story time in school.

This is the first volume of Brer Rabbit stories and we hope if all goes to plan volume two will be released in time for the festive period.
