Books

Anansi POD webIn 2011 due to the popularity of our app picture books we converted our best sellers into eBooks. These are available via Amazon, in all of their regions. Although originally developed for use on the Kindle the great news is you don’t have to own a Kindle to read them. Simply download the free app and you can read on a variety of other devices including PC and MAC. The titles include:

In the same year we produced our first eBook (Anansi the Trickster Spider: volume one) suitable for older readers or for parents/grandparents etc. to share with younger children. It contains 8 short stories that are ideal to share during story or bedtime and take on average 10-15 minutes to read. A few months later we released Anansi the Trickster Spider: volume two. Both titles are available via Amazon and Kobo.

In 2014 we released a Spanish version of Anansi the Trickster Spider: volume one. A couple of month laters we combined the two English volumes to create a paperback version which is available via a range of suppliers including Amazon, Createspace Direct, bookshops, institutes and libraries.

At the moment we are in the process of creating similar titles plus some non-fiction titles.

“Anansi stories are well known in the Caribbean and orators like Louise Bennett really brings them to life in the Jamaican dialect. This selection of stores are written in the “English” words and would make an excellent reading book to parents and children of all ages! The stories are not too long, but there is always a moral.”
